About Me

Hi, my name is Dave. I’m a varsity level track athlete who has spent almost as much time in the gym and track as I have in my bed. My passion for running and sport all began at a young age  when my dad and I sat down to watch the 1996 Atlanta 400m Olympic finals race. Since then I’ve experimented with countless training programs and specialized equipment from ankle weights to sprint parachutes trying to get a “leg” up on my competition ( 200 and 400m races). This blog is an account of my personal experience with what’s worked and what hasn’t over the past 11 years of my active sport life and competitive running career. Take a to look around, leave a comment and enjoy.
If you have any questions about the site or about running in general feel free to contact me.
